Update: Rant deleted

I deleted my rant. It appears to have served its purpose. I was able vent and to not-so-subtely reiterate my position on certain family matters. But as Sunny pointed out last night...It was jamming the vibe of the blog. I agree. Now, it's onwards and upwards. BTW, I'm brewing a huge batch this weekend for the BBQ cook-off and beer tasting at Taryn's on June 20th..it's going to be a blast!

    Ha! Marmite, you didn't miss much. BTW, Once I bottle the beer I made yesterday. I am sending some your way so you can raise a glass with us on June 20th.

    Thank goodness no Bent Beer was harmed in the production of this rant, Bob... It was just a little verbal lashing of a family member who could use a lesson or two on what it means to "be a part of a family."

    Hey Bent, This is Mia aka Meg. I am looking forward to the shindig on the 20th. I'll be bringing my Weber, I plan to do a leg of lamb with a honey dijon sauce. Sounds like a lot of fun. This will be our first time at a HBO event, officially. We were "voyeurs" by accident the last Blogfest held at Capone's. I met Taryn there, when she came up to our table to ask me if I was JBelle. ( I wish, right?) I'm married to 29wordsorless, he had a short lived blog of limericks. We are looking forward to the soriee. I'm not so much in it to win it, as I am to just be a part of it. I will be planning not to disappoint, as I always do, when I cook. I look forward to tasting your much raved about beer! Yum!

    Mia, thanks for droping me a note. I remember when Taryn asked if you were Jbelle, I put her up to it! I am so glad you are grilling too. I am going to do my Chateau Briand, and some BBQ'd jalepeno poppers for appetizers and probably some type of vegetable dish. I'm not in it to win, either. I'm totally in it for the fun, plus I just wanted to help out Taryn with her new studio. I am glad JimmyMac threw down the challenge and you picked up on it otherwise the event would be the Bent and Taryn show! Now, it is going to be a blast... I look forward to cooking with you over a couple of Bent beers!
